Three-Phase Low Voltage Capacitor Banks For Individual PFC

Individual compensation is realised by connecting capacitors directly to supplying terminals of a motor. In this way, the supplying network is lightened from reactive power absorbed by load, what results in lowering of additional losses caused by cables' and transformers' coils heating and also making installation of additional loads possible. Moreover, power factor correction removes additional voltage drops, thus improving start-up and operating conditions of electrical devices, improves power factor, which has effect on bills for electric energy supplied to the plant. In this case, there is no need for installing separate protection devices for capacitor bank, because their function is performed by motor's protection circuit.

KT type capacitor banks are designed for individual fixed compensation of low voltage loads. In capacitor banks, there are self-healing, dry, non-toxic and environmentally safe capacitors, equipped with overpressure overload protections.
The cubicle is made of steel sheets, electrostatically powder painted, of protection degree IP54.
